UPDATED SCIENCE PROGRAM (For Fall of 2013)

KNOWATOM: Third Grade Science System The KnowAtom Third Grade Science system introduces students to the Scientific Method and Engineering Design Process. Students learn how to gather data using instruments such as pan balances and graduated cylinders and use these measurements to draw conclusions. The 13 unit curriculum covers all of the elementary-level science, engineering and technology standards through topics like the water cycle, classification, types of energy and bridge construction. Teachers receive original student readers to reinforce the units’ topics and quizzes to assess student understanding.
