Memorial and Honorary Gifts

Each year, St. Stephen's Armenian Elementary School receives gifts in memory of or in honor of community members. When memorial gifts are received, we notify next of kin, when honorary gifts are received, we notify the honored individual(s).

Bequests

Types of Bequests

A bequest in your will or provision in your living trust can take any of the following forms:

Pecuniary - A specific amount.
Specific - A particular asset.
Contingent - If your beneficiaries do not (?)
Residuary - A percentage of your residuary.

Benefits of a Bequest

A charitable bequest is deductible for federal estate tax purposes, and there is no limit on the amount of the deduction.
