Our campus expansion construction project, announced at the end of 2011, was completed on August 31, 2012 and ready for the 2012-2013 academic year as anticipated.

This expansion was necessary, because the elementary school had outgrown its space, due to our growing student body, and the demands of an enhanced academic offering.

Adjacent to the Preschool, the new building includes the addition of a new, 6000+ sq.ft., 2-story structure encompassing four new classrooms and indoor and outdoor recreation facilities. Of the four new classrooms, two are dedicated to our Kindergarten, the third is dedicated to STEM N-5 instruction and activities, and the fourth is used as a music Room for Nursery and Kindergarten students, as well as for our Mayrig and Me and Clap and Tap programs. The lower level is used as an indoor recreation facility and K Physical education during inclement weather. The usage configuration of the new building may change as needed to accommodate the School’s evolving needs.

By moving the Kindergarten classrooms from the main campus into the new building, the elementary school gained two additional classrooms. One is dedicated to Grades 1-5 Armenian instruction, and the other classroom is used as the School’s Library and the Reading Specialist’s Room.
